Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Thimphu
Touch down in Paro and transfer to Thimphu, settling into the rhythms of Bhutan’s peaceful capital.
Begin capturing the city’s cultural textures and architectural character.
Days 2–3: Thimphu → Punakha → Phobjikha
Head toward Punakha via gorgeous mountain roads.
Photograph the iconic 108 stupas at Dochula Pass backed by snow-capped peaks.
Proceed into Phobjikha, whose tranquil valleys and Gangtey create a photographer’s dream.
Days 4–5: Trongsa & Central Highlands
Journey deeper into Bhutan, visiting Trongsa’s rugged landscapes—ideal for capturing local life against a mountainous backdrop.
Day 6: Drive to Bumthang
- Venture into the spiritual heartland of Bhutan—Bumthang. A perfect place for portrait and lifestyle photography of monastic traditions.
Day 7: Cultural Immersion in Bumthang
- Photograph local traditions: perhaps villagers in their daily routine, artisans crafting with age-old techniques, or monastic serenity.
Day 8: Bumthang → Paro (via flight)
- Fly from Bumthang to Paro for fresh aerial perspectives and dramatic altitudes.
Day 9: Paro & Tiger’s Nest
- Make the iconic hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery—perched on a cliff—for epic sunrise landscape compositions and atmospheric shots.
Days 10–11: Paro Exploration & Departure
Spend your final full day exploring Paro’s cultural corners and architecture.
